VICTORY announces UL2085 Certification

VICTORY announces the availability of the most versatile line of UL2085 listed and protected, fire-rated generator base tanks in the industry.

VICTORY’s design provides all the required attributes of the UL2085 listing with the versatility to fit into any generator installation application. Unlike most manufacturers with the UL2085 listing, VICTORY is dedicated to generator sub base tank design.

Requests for fire-rated tanks are on the increase. As the IBC (International Building Code) is adopted, the awareness of the need for fire rated flammable and combustible liquid storage tanks will be a necessity. The IBC classifies most generator installations with fuel storage H-1 Hazardous, requiring fire suppression. The same installation with a UL2085 fire rated tank negates the need for fire suppression by classifying the installation S-1 Storage.
