VICTORY Announces ISO 9001:2000 CertificationIn 2007 Victory Industrial Products, LLC embarked on a very important initiative to implement LEAN manufacturing at their primary production facility in Batavia, Ohio. After successfully completing this project, they opened their second production facility in Phoenix Arizona in August of 2008, which is now fully operational and positioned to support all of their west coast business. Now as the company focuses on continued expansion to achieve a true national footprint, they have just been awarded their ISO 9001:2000 certification. In qualifying for this certification, they worked closely with EAGLE Registrations Inc. out of Dayton Ohio. Victory was awarded this certification at the end of November 2008. The scope of the registration covers the design, manufacture, assembly, distribution and servicing of enclosures, sub-frames, trailers, fuel tanks (UL142 and UL2085) and accessories for the power generation industry. According to Bob Carter, Victory’s CEO; "This is an important milestone in the company’s ongoing development and clearly demonstrates our commitment to the industry that we serve. It is our goal to be known as a ‘world class manufacturer and being awarded this certification shows that we are fully committed to achieving that status". In expanding on Mr. Carter’s comments, Dave Koester, Victory’s Director of Sales and Marketing added; “This certification is not only an important achievement for the company, but should give all of our customers the confidence and assurance that any product they purchase from Victory has met rigorous performance and quality standards.
