Our New Facility and Expanded Capacity
It is official! VICTORY's new address is 4160 Half Acre Road in Batavia, Ohio. We moved into our new facility (See the Cincinnati and Facility Images pages on our Locations tab) in May of 2007. Growing from approximately 27,000 sq. ft. to 120,000 sq. ft. on 10 plus acres has enabled us to much better serve our customer’s needs and to provide our associates with a better work environment. Our new facility, with manufacturing bays up to 45 feet in height, accommodates generator maneuverability and loading for even the largest package solutions.
We have also incorporated LEAN manufacturing processes into our facility that have enabled us to standardize production, quality and product flow to ensure on-time deliveries of your projects. Our process time from cutting of steel to shipment of your complete package order is less than 6 work days.
As we settled in and focused on managing our customer’s needs, we
have added support staff, management, processes and equipment. In addition to our new CEO, Bob Carter, we now have Tim Lautermilch as Vice President Operations, Thom Kuehneman as Batavia Plant Manager, Robert Holtcamp
as Quality Manager, Dave Makransky as Materials Manager, and Aaron Knorr as Chief Sound Engineer. We will continually be adding staff to build a superior team of experienced professionals to better serve your needs.
Bob Carter, CEO
Bob has over 30 years of Operations and Business Management experience. He has held senior operating positions at both Raytheon and Invensys. He has extensive training and implementation experiences with lean manufacturing and the Toyota Production System. He previously spent 6 years as CEO of MWC, a $100M private equity held custom products manufacturer consisting of multiple U.S. and Mexico locations. Bob holds BSIE and MBA degrees.
Tim Lautermilch, Vice President
Tim has more than twenty-two years of professional experience in manufacturing operations business management with custom engineered products. He began his career with GenCorp in project engineering then served as Business Unit Manager. In several privately owned businesses, as a General Manager and Vice President, he successfully led the growth and improvement of several multi-plant companies by implementing lean systems. He has experience implementing self-directed, team based workforces focused on increasing efficiency and customer satisfaction. Tim holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA. He has also been a licensed Professional Engineer. Tim serves on several community education, church and finance boards. He is also a Manufacturing representative for the Workforce Policy Board of Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services.
Robert C. Holtkamp, Jr., Quality Manager
Bob is a customer focused professional with twenty-five years of Quality Systems management experience in metal manufacturing and assembly industries. His background also includes successful new product development, customer service and warranty administration in the automotive supply community. He is a Certified Lead Auditor in ISO9000, QS9000 and TS16949, and Bob has led several plants to successful quality system certifications. He holds a BS degree and is also certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt through Xavier University, Cincinnati.
Aaron Knorr, Chief Engineer Noise Control Specialist
Aaron has a diverse professional background in electrical and mechanical systems. His unique business experiences include a broad spectrum from project management and customer relations to NVH and data acquisition involving numerous consumer and industrial applications worldwide including Automotive, Aerospace, Medical, White Goods, and Environmental systems. Aaron is also a member of IEEE and the ACOUSTICAL SOCIETY OF AMERICA. Aaron brings to Victory the expertise and knowledge to mold Victory’s continuous growth process.
